This collage shows all 43 game programs I designed for the Charlotte Bobcats in their final season.
Did this Eleven Game Pick Plan direct mail piece a few months ago, but wanted to share my favorite part. Check out how the number ’11’ creates the ‘N’ in the word Eleven.
Hey guys, I was messing around with shadows and lighting tonight and decided to try the ole photoshop actions method. Its been awhile since I used this technique. I forgot how simple and quick it makes creating realistic shadows. Record the action you want, play it back, merge it, tweak it – DONE! In one step too. Actions are a good way of doing repetative tasks. Check out “HOCKEY” above

These are some web graphic concepts for the 5-GAME Pick Plan sales campaign. The ‘main window’ graphic (top) rotates with other lead stories on the homepage. A ticket button is included which hyperlinks to landing page where interested fans can learn more about the plan and even purchase tickets. The takeover graphic (bottom) is used at the top of home page where the pencil will drop down to open the full takeover ad. The pencil in this case is used as more a teaser to engage the visitor to click the drop down arrow in the top right to see more. I used a dark backdrop with both of these graphics to really highlight the ‘energy’ brush marks and ‘Feel the Energy’ theme. Ticket plan info is simple and easy to digest.

Poster layout for a 5-GAME Pick Plan sales campaign. Simple brush marks create the energy marks surrounding Kemba inline with a ‘Feel the Energy’ theme. Large title and plan description and price demonstrate typographic hierarchy. The distribution of white space in this poster creates nice separation between the message and the image allowing for an easy read.
I seem to be on a vintage tee design kick lately. Here is another Bobcats vintage tee design. Although simplistic, this is a perfect example of how design really plays a critical part. A combination of the right font(s) and composition can make it or break it.
